My Disney Kitchen Bits and Bobs

I have a few Disney decorative items in my kitchen, not as much as I would like but as this is just a rented apartment with my boyfriend that is temporary, it means I won't have as many items here as I hope to have at the house I eventually make my permanent home. Anyway, for now, I just thought I'd share with you the few small items I do have in my kitchen that are Disney related.

The first things I have are my fridge magnets. I have a Lady and the Tramp one and a The Jungle Book one that I bought as a treat for myself one day after a job interview. There was a fantastic selection of these magnets with the original movie posters one them but I liked those two the most and thought they were the cutest. I think they only cost €2.50 which considering they are really unique and would probably eventually be considered collector's items online. I love the fact that they are of the original movie posters, in particular the Lady and the Tramp one as it has an adorable picture of the two characters with the tagline "and NOW his HAPPIEST Motion Picture" and considering it's about dogs which are the happiest little things around, I would definitely agree!

On my large cupboard door in my kitchen is a poster I made and printed off when I first moved into my current apartment. It has my favourite Walt Disney quote of all time on it that I'm fairly sure many a Disney lover will know well. It's such an inspiring message and a really positive phrase to have on display in your home I think, but I think that could be said of a lot of Walt Disney and Disney movie quotes so have any of them on a poster or sign in your home is a great idea to me! I included on the poster a background real life picture of the Castle in Disneyland and some white outlined pictures of several Disney characters including Pinocchio, Lady, Mowgli and Baloo.

For my birthday last year I was given a money box by two of my friends that I keep in my kitchen on the counter. It is really pretty and has the words "Shopping Fund" on the back of it with a picture of a very stylish Minnie Mouse. It's like an old school piggy bank in that it can be broken in order to get the money. I have put a few bits of change in it but I can't see myself ever being able to break such a cute piece of memorabilia so I'll probably never see those coins again, whoops!

One more thing I keep in my kitchen that is Disney related is a gorgeous dainty little tea and tea pot combo that my sister got me a few years ago. It's a Winnie The Pooh item and it was made by Churchill Fine China and it is a Disney Iconic Moments piece. My favourite aspect of this item is that it has the phrase "Pooh's the bestest friend by far" around the rim of the cup and the pictures on it are the original illustrations which adds even more loveliness to it. I don't actually drink or use this teacup/pot because I find it works better as a decorative thing but I feel like it would be the perfect cute little gift for any tea lover to sip their favourite brew from on a nice relaxing afternoon.  
So as you can see I have a small few cute things about my kitchen but I would definitely love to have a few more things in the future such as some more Disney artwork or Signs etc.. as well as those amazing Disney appliances like toasters that I've seen online, but for now I'm pretty happy with the things I've got and grateful that I was given them.
