Of course, for Christmas, I received some Disney things from my boyfriend. I thought I'd just show off what I got because I was so delighted with them and want to share my delight. On Christmas Eve, the two of us exchanged our presents, it's become the tradition over the past 2 Christmases that we do this as we each spend the night time with our families and don't see each other again until Christmas night. I first have to say I did add a little splash of Disney into his presents, I couldn't resist. I got him a t-shirt with the "PUMA" Logo although instead of saying puma it said PUMBA with a silhouette of The Lion King's Pumba beside it and he loved it. Having opened the non Disney related gifts from him, I opened a thin A4 envelope type package which I really wasn't certain what it could be. It turned out to be a tin sign with this fantastic piece of writing on it that I had seen before on etsy and other places, and I loved it. It was just so thoughtful that he had remembered me seeing that piece of writing, I'm sure many Disney people will recognize it when they see it in the photos, really cute and clever stuff.
I then opened up a trio of mugs, I LOVE collecting Disney mugs, so these were an ideal present for me, plus I drink a lot of coffee and tea so they are put to good use. I won't share any photos of those mugs as I'd like to do a blog post in the future on my mug collection so I'll save it for then. I didn't actually think I was getting any other gifts from him after those until he left the room and came back in, sat down and told me to open my eyes, once I did there in my hands was a little purple satin bag with Disney Couture written on it. Well, I'm not too embarrassed to admit I got super emotional when I opened the bag, it was the sweetest prettiest white gold bracelet with the phrase "You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think" engraved on it with a tiny Winnie the Pooh and honey bee charm on it. Well, that was it for me, I lost it and started crying. I think the tears were for three different reasons, one was that I have used that phrase while talking to my little baby nephew and I think it's just so adorable and lovely, two I was just a tad hungover from a girl's Christmas dinner the previous night, and three, because it was a thoughtful, sweet and beautiful present given to me by somebody I love. I hope every Disney fan receives something like that at least one Christmas.
Lastly I just wanted to quickly mention a little somethin somethin I got for myself right before Christmas, It's just another two Disney Bullyland figurines I purchased at a shop in the same town as I got my two Snow White ones. These are two Cinderella ones, one of Cinderella trying on the glass slipper and I love the detailing, the fact that she actually has one of the glass slippers on and is admiring it is such a nice touch. The other is of Lady Tremaine, her detailing is also great, I think the look of distaste on her face is really fun. So that is all for my Disney Christmas things, I received some other practical and really needed/appreciated non Disney gifts from my family too which I was really grateful for. I really hope all the Disney people out there had a magical Holiday season
This is the Disney couture website, It has some lovely stuff and the bags they come in are also gorgeous <3 http://www.disneycouture.co.uk/
